No Dramas

How have you been? That’s great.

My last tour show, “Tragedy Plus Time”, was very well received and very well reviewed but, it might not come as a surprise to anyone who came to see it, was quite taxing to perform.
Who’d have thought picking at the scab of the worst moment of your life five nights a week for 18 months would prove to be such a downer? That’s why I’m very much looking forward to hitting the road with a show that’s altogether much lighter in tone.
It’s called “No Dramas”, partly in reference to the fact that it’s relatively death/trauma free but also because I’ll be chatting about my constantly thwarted attempts to live a life free of hassles.
I’m not going to lie, with 7 months to go before the opening night, the show isn’t yet fully formed but, judging by how the latest Work In Progress shows have gone, it’s shaping up to be a cracker.
So, if you fancy seeing me getting back to what I’ve always done best, i.e., whining like a dentist’s drill about the little things that seem to gang up to ruin your day, “No Dramas” is coming to a theatre near you.
